BROKOF released debut <a href="spotify:album:3ZYfgKp3m96VH0JR65aQID" data-name="Softly, Softly, Catchee Monkey">Softly, Softly, Catchee Monkey</a> in 2010. Sophomore album <a href="spotify:album:7FSIzu09inyM4Se6puc8oU" data-name="Side By Side">Side By Side</a> opened the bands work to a wider audience as it was highly praised by critics. With <a href="spotify:track:78qQQqTiVLOnJJavY7taT3" data-name="Eviction Notice">Eviction Notice</a> BROKOF offered a first glimpse of <a href="spotify:album:0M4gdIglKQdiiQtYQWtN8M" data-name="Cool Fame">Cool Fame</a> (2016) and toured Europe with the EP as a giveaway to their fans. The ROLLING STONE saw it related to the work of <a href="spotify:artist:1CYsQCypByMVgnv17qsSbQ" data-name="Crosby, Stills, Nash &amp; Young">Crosby, Stills, Nash &amp; Young</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:67ea9eGLXYMsO2eYQRui3w" data-name="The Who">The Who</a> and called it „plain and beautiful“.
A year later the band released <a href="spotify:album:3twjv84rYbXkBbv8oETwdI" data-name="Brother Equal">Brother Equal</a>, a collaboration with american singer/songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:3enqPJRPSG3Yd8lMaGdxkw" data-name="Random Willson">Random Willson</a>. With <a href="spotify:album:4bjheqKYPxgwB98uiOxvNi" data-name="Fore!">Fore!</a> (2018) the band delivered „a more distorted and less romantic version of their Folk-Rock, at the same time everything sways wonderfully, disregarding the outcome; the small form beats the large gesture, <a href="spotify:artist:2rDxtYUzTAYJJE3Bl3Z5IN" data-name="Jeff Tweedy">Jeff Tweedy</a> style. Again, one can hear how well Brokof play together, allowing the arrangements to breathe, instead of pinning them to the ground.
