Diagnosed with a rare eye disease that caused temporary blindness, Brooke turned to songwriting as a lifeline to cope. When the disease went into remission, she emerged with a renewed sense of purpose — determined to share her story through music, a journey that ultimately led her to Music City and the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, Cry Like A Girl.
