Brotherless is me, John Cannon, a multi-instrumentalist from Rochester, NY. I also plays drums in @Athletics and run a coffee company when I'm not writing and recording. I have an unhealthy obsession with Oasis and Descendents, but mostly listen to hip-hop. I play one show a year as Brotherless and recruit my friends to play the instruments.
The name Brotherless of course means I don't have biological brothers, but it also alludes to the feeling of loneliness. I use that feeling to remind myself that no one in this world is going to help me out. If I want something done right, I do it myself. This will prove to be my downfall, and you get a front-row seat to watch it happen.
