Brothers Revolt

Brothers Revolt was formed in late 2023 by childhood friends Andy Liter and Matt Wilkerson. The two of them grew up in the Morristown, Tennessee area and were drawn to rock music and the electric guitar at an early age. They played in a band as teenagers, writing their own songs in addition to their favorite covers. This band ended as most do at that age with Andy going to college. In the meantime, Andy and Matt both pursued professional careers and raised families, but they both still missed the rush of playing music on a live stage. Fast forward to early 2024, when through a series of random events, bassist Shane Parkey joins the duo. Parkey has been friends with Matt and Andy since they were all co-workers at a local music store. The final piece of their sound came together in summer of 2024 when drummer Ozzie Jimenez joined the band through a mix of cosmic intervention and a cleverly-worded craigslist ad. Now with their sound solidified, they are playing shows across the middle and eastern Tennessee area. Their first album, “Live at 1907” will be released this summer and the band hopes to keep getting their music out and connecting with live audiences as much as they can.
