Brotherz Muzik

Born in Goma, North Kivu in the East of DRCongo, Brotherz Muzik is the powerful musical duo made up of blood brothers Magloire Chishugi and Gaston Chishugi. Music runs deep in their veins, raised by parents who led a church choir, the brothers discovered their passion for music early, performing in church services and quickly becoming local favorites in their hometown. Their gift caught fire when a pastor began inviting them to sing live on a local Goma radio station, propelling them into the public eye and earning invitations to perform at schools across the region.
However, life took an unexpected turn. Amidst rising tensions and conflict, the family was forced to flee Goma, relocating to Kampala, Uganda as refugees. Despite language barriers and the challenges of starting over, music remained their anchor. They learned English through a refugee program that happened to include a music band a chance that reignited their dreams. When the band eventually disbanded, the brothers made a pivotal decision: to continue independently and officially form Brotherz Muzik.
Their sound is vibrant, heartfelt, and electrifying a true reflection of their journey, culture, and dreams.
