Brotsjór is a post rock duo from Reykjavik, Iceland which has been active in the Icelandic music scene and releasing music since 2022. The two musicians Breki Steinn Mánason and Hákon Freyr Aðalssteinsson have been involved in a few musical endeavors with and without each other. Most notably Laser Life, Hákon, Chino and Gunslinger. Brotsjór’s music utilizes the traditional post rock instrumentation: drums, bass and electric guitars through lots of guitar pedals. But they also expand on that sound using electronic drums, synthesizers, string arrangements and vocoders.
