After hanging up his gloves from a career in finance, Brudini's music speaks of a life spent journeying and of a man who has traversed contradictory worlds before finding his creative voice, with songs often reflective of inner struggle and existential longing.
Straddling the provocative edge of noise and avant-garde with the timeless allure of poetic lyricism and classical melody, Brudini has been praised by NYC punk legend Danny Fields and hailed by Louder Than War, whilst receiving notable airplay on BBC6, RadioX, and Radio 2's Frank Skinner show.
The soul of his debut LP From Darkness, Light emerges from an unlikely friendship forged in the intimate confines of Soho's Society Club. Here, amid shelves of rare books and evening shadows, the emerging songwriter found a kindred spirit in Californian poet Chip Martin. What began as spontaneous collaborations during Martin's poetry nights - a verse here, a melody there - blossomed into a profound creative partnership. The album weaves seven of Brudini’s songs and five of Martin's poems through its sonic tapestry, their voices merging to tell a wandering tale of loss, longing, and cosmic consolation.
Brudini's long term musicians include Casper Hoedemaekers (double bass) and drummers Derin Bayhan, Siemy Di and Livio Polisano. Past live collaborations include Chip Martin, Lulu Gainsbourg, Thierry Alexandre and a sold-out Soho alt-cabaret by Barney Ashton-Bullock, featuring LGBTQ-pioneer Lanah P and Erasure´s Andy Bell.
