I was born in Bruges. I have been interested in music since I was young. Everyone loves listening to a specific music genre but I wanted to go further, which I didn’t t realize until I had reached my teenage years. How? My brother and I went shopping once to get my mother’s birthday present when, at the Bruges city centre, we started hearing street musicians playing. They played the saxophone, the guitar and the violin. Being more specific, at that moment, I felt like I was able to feel the music going through my veins. As the music was reaching its highest point, more and more passers-by came around, as if it were a pretedermined meeting place. People coming from other countries, with different culture and languages were united by the power of music. Amazing! They were happy, smiling and dancing together. It was then when I found a reason to start making music.
