Bruno Santos is a Portuguese songwriter and producer whose work moves between alternative rock, pop, and introspective songwriting.
Born in Porto and currently based in Esmoriz, Portugal, Bruno has been writing songs since the age of 14. His path has included bands, long periods as a solo musician, and years of live performances across Portugal and other European countries, often in intimate settings built around voice, guitar, and original material.
Between 2012 and 2015, he was a member of the band Stereo Protocol, releasing the album Time in Backwards. Alongside that project, he continued developing his own songwriting language through solo work, experimenting with form, emotion, and structure.
From 2007 to 2010, Bruno was also involved in early experiments with live music streaming and online platforms, at a time when the idea of performing and reaching audiences digitally was still far from common. That period helped shape his interest in the intersection between music, technology, and creative independence.
Reverse <|> Symmetry represents the culmination of more than a decade of writing, producing, and refining songs. Rather than following trends, the project reflects a long creative cycle songs written over years, revisited, reshaped, and finally brought together as a coherent body of work. It marks a turning point between a highly conceptual phase and a more direct, song-focused approach going forward.
