Brushbender

I'm a multi-artist that play most of my instruments myself with a love for storytelling. Sometimes I tell stories in songs, other times with the help of visual imagery. I like to stay in the space between sadness and happiness, a place I like to call the blue note. It feels like saying goodbye to someone you love at the airport and the sadness that comes with that. But you know you will see them again so that has some consolation. Sometimes this makes you suddenly aware of your own heart beating in your chest, this is what I call Rubatosis (which isn't a real world really).

My studio is located in Norway in my basement and my recordings carries the signature of someone who wants to tell something but does not quite posses the technical capabilities to make it sound professional. I like it like that. It's not overproduced, it's real, it's raw.
