Hello!
I am a hobbyist singer/songwriter and I like to write music that glorifies God in the way He prefers. I firmly root my music in Scripture and take care not to place my preferences above God's own preferences.
In my Podcast, Balm in Gilead, I outline the parameters found in Scripture to help discern what is pleasing to God and what is simply pleasing to man.
I love the Psalms and have curated a playlist of modern Psalm paraphrases performed in the Indy/Folk Rock genre.
Together with Sound in Worship, we are recording new or updated versions of our favorite hymns (as well as some upcoming original music!).
