Born in Penang,Malaysia. Bryan started playing music at the age of 5 when he was taking piano lessons. He soon found an ukulele teacher and picked up that instrument as well. He enjoyed the ukulele so much that he started learning solo pieces, which made him a child prodigy on the ukulele. At age 15, he picked up the guitar and bass to join bands. Bryan is currently an Electric Bass principal at the Berklee College of Music.
