Bryce Sweat is an aspiring film scorer with years of experience in music since his early childhood. Bryce began playing music by learning the piano, but found his true passion for it when he started taking drum lessons. He credits Christophe Beck's Paperman with igniting his love for film score in particular.
As a teenager, Bryce would replicate themes from movies and television shows by ear and combine them into medleys. It didn't take long for him to realize he could write his own themes. After spending most of his life in Rocky Mount, VA, he would move to Liberty University to attend film scoring classes in 2018. While there, Bryce became attached to and scored several student projects.
Bryce's favorite musical influences include Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, and Pharrell Williams. While he has several favorite soundtracks, Halo 2, Up, and Ford v. Ferrari regularly stay in his top 5. Bryce is also the brother of the christian rapper known as Hawk, having produced five of his beats on Chapter 3: The Skull. The two continue to work together to this day to bring a more unique sound to both of their own styles of music.
