“Music has always been part of my growth path. Even when I was young : I remember the first time I went to the music room and heard one of my seniors playing a guitar. I don’t think I've ever left since then.” - @Bryvvn.
Steve Tambo AKA Bryvvn is an artist from Nairobi, Kenya. Most of his production experience and background has roots in Cape Town , South Africa influenced heavily by the come up of current big name artists such as Nasty C and Shane Eagle who he interacted with from time to time through various close connections while studying at the University of Cape Town. In the year 2017 he produced exclusively for Ricky Rick’s then Vodacom NEXT challenge mentee Jesse Reignz churning out constant bangers with the promising rapper and learning the music industry one recording session at a time.
“I spent countless hours with my headphones or speakers on just tryna figure out where everything fits in. I never had any formal training so most of the stuff I picked up from my neighbours who were studying audio engineering at the time or from videos on You Tube. Those were dark days but eventually I learnt how to manipulate sound in a way no other producer or artist does ; maybe PARTYNEXTDOOR or Amir Obe . That raw, gritty texture that works so well with melodies ; took me years to find that sound.” - @Bryvvn
