Bucklyn Sky is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Southern California, raised in a close-knit home where music wasn’t a hobby, it was the atmosphere. With parents who are still together and deeply musical, Bucklyn grew up surrounded by instruments and late-night jam sessions. His mother taught music, and his father could jump from harmonica to horn to piano without missing a beat. That kind of upbringing made artistry feel second nature: give Bucklyn a guitar, a piano, or anything with strings or keys, and he finds his footing fast.
In high school, what started as a classic attempt to impress a few girls turned into a real discovery. He wasn’t just a capable player, he had a voice and something to say. Influenced early by his parents’ love of Bob Dylan, Buckland fell in love with songwriting as much as sound, learning that lyrics can carry truth the way melodies carry feeling. After personal losses, he leaned on music as a place to process, heal, and breathe. He then realized his songs could offer that same comfort to others.
