Buddie Roots

Buddie Roots is a native Californian raised in the streets of San Diego.
he was exposed to spiritual music at an early age. As a musician he played around his city for a number of churches and community bands, even forming a few and assisting in forming several. By the time he was 21 he had embarked on a rap carrer as Buddie Love a smooth talking Player with a way with the ladies frequently hanging in the strip clubs and living a fast life. But in 2010 his life changed forever when he attended The Tribute to The Legends festival formally known as the Bob Marley festival which was and still is organized by San Diegos very own Makeda Dread.
After the concert for weeks he kept hearing in his ear "Nazarite" as if someone was calling him!
It was the voice of The Most High calling him to Harken.
Being a pastors son he asked his father what a Nazarite was and his father instructed him to go and research it himself.
Soon he discovered his calling in life and changed the sound of his music from rap/hip hop to the righteous sounds of Roots Reggae, keepin it strictly roots.
His older brother had introduced him to the "Big Blunts" reggae mixtapes at the age of 7
And now he had a message for the world to Harken to of his own.
And his message is Peace and Love.
