Eccentric and eclectic, words that describe the style and artistry of BuDu. His first introduction to music was through his father's music collection which boasted records from Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Ebo Taylor, James Brown, Kenny Rogers, Bob Marley etc. During his formative years, he developed a love for the hip hop genre through artists such as Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Outkast, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. Inspired by the confidence and artistry displayed, he begun to write his own raps, releasing several freestyles on MySpace and finally dropping a mixtape: Autumn Rain; at the age of 17. Honing in on his talents, mastering his craft and discovering his own identity. He developed a rich display of artistic ingenuity and adroitness.
