BULUT GULEN BIOGRAPHY
Bulut Gülen started his music education at the age of 9 and studied trombone at Hacettepe Conservatory in Ankara and Istanbul State Conservatory. During his education he played the trombone in various concerts and tours at home and abroad, winning accolades and awards. Gülen completed his education at Berklee College of Music, where he studied Professional Music since 2007. He had the opportunity to play in concerts and festivals in America, Canada, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Balkans and Turkey with many jazz musicians, including valuable names such as Kurt Elling, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Miguel Zenon, McCoy Tyner and Benny Golson.
Bulut Gülen completed his master's degree at the New England Conservatory. He took the stage at jazz festivals in Montreal, Beantown, Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Bursa, Alanya, Bozcaada, Bodrum and Kaş. He also had the opportunity to take the stage in historical jazz clubs such as Birdland, Jazz Gallery, National Sawdust and Lincoln Jazz Center. During his time in the US, he took part in many bigband and small combo recordings by playing the trombone. He was a lecturer at Hacettepe University State Conservatory. His debut album "Su" was released in June 2015. Bulut Gülen played the trombone for the recording of famous Turkish musician Kenan Doğulu's first jazz album "İhtimaller", which was released in 2016. He is preparing to release his second album "Bosphorus Train" from Kenan Doğulu's record label Doğulu Music.
