Hailing from the gritty streets of SE Washington DC Bumbl B is a game changer. She is one half of a husband and wife rap duo by the name of G.A.T. She is known for her lyrical content and punchlines that could rival any mainstream artist of today. Growing up in a part of the city plagued by a high crime rate music and family were the mainstay to keeping her grounded and sane. R&B was always her favorite genre of music to listen but she is very eclectic and loves all genres of music including rap. It was when her brother, Frank, introduced her to some of his favorite artist such as Ludacris and Twista that rap became another of her favorites. She can remember her brother putting on a Twista song and challenging her to remember and recite the fast paced lyrics, this sibling exchange is what opened her eyes to wanting to know more about rap. Along with her brother, her now husband Dominic influenced her into wanting to get deeper into rap. There would be nights just hanging out with Frank, Dominic and other friend where they would get a karaoke machine, put on a beat and just rap. Although Bumbl B's music has a range of styles depending on what the beat makes her feel, there is no denying the wittiness her lines deliver to the listener. Her penchant for story telling can transport a listener to the scene of the story without them ever having to physically travel anywhere. If Bumbl B has her way she'll be a forced to be reckoned with and will captivate audiences everywhere.
