Bundy’s genre bending sound at times can be a melting pot of artistry, experimental but also traditional at the same time. His intricate process of producing, song writing and engineering, help him create his own sound.
Bundy Smith was born Brendarius Smith in Sandusky, Ohio. Early on Bundy took inspiration from artist such as Pharell Williams, Kanye West, Ne-yo ,John Legend and an array of others. He started writing songs in middle school, and was producing and engineering his own music by the time he left high school. His first album Pretty In The Night Sky Bundy raps about the struggles and hardships he faced even though he grow up in a two parent household. Pretty In The Night Sky is Bundy letting the world in and also it shows his versatility as a rapper, producer and singer. Bundy followed his first album with a sequel album called Sun Behind the Trees, where he is more experimental with sound and pushes his creativity to its limits. This album being more free form and lacking the traditional instrumentation used in its predecessor. Following the first two albums Bundy has released two eps, In The Meantime , and 4 My Real Fans where you can hear his growth in song writing, production and as well as engineering.
