Burcu Kurt

Burcu Kurt is a versatile and talented singer born in İzmir, Turkey. She began her formal vocal training at the Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory, focusing on stage arts, opera, and singing. Her academic journey led her to the prestigious Graz University of Music and Performing Arts in Austria, where she completed her master’s degree.

Kurt has a deep passion for various musical genres, including chanson, operetta, musical theater, and cabaret. She created and performed solo concerts under the concept „Frau Kurt“ alongside Karlheinz Donauer, blending classical opera singing with these more popular and theatrical styles. Her ability to fluidly move between classical and modern musical expressions has allowed her to perform across several countries, especially Austria. She is also a current member of the renowned Volksoper Vienna, one of Austria’s leading opera houses.

In 2024, Kurt made her debut in the popular music scene with her self-written and composed single, „Bir Aşk Meselesi,“ showcasing her talents beyond the classical world. This single reflects her expanding artistic range and introduces her to a broader audience.
