Sarasota, FL's Burden of a Day was formed in 2004. The band was known for full energy shows that eventually got them signed to indie label “Blood & Ink Records” in the summer of 2005. They released “Pilots and Paper Planes” in 2006 The band was made up of sibling brothers Josh and Mike Sommers, Terry Clark, Jesse Hostetler and vocalist Kendall Knepp. They began touring relentlessly throughout the year which eventually got the attention of Indie label “Rise Records”. They signed a deal in 2007 and released “Blessed be our Ever After” in 2008 (Produced by Joey Sturgis). Later that year vocalist Kendall Knepp left the band and was replaced by “Kyle Tamo”. They released “OneOneThousand” in 2009 (Produced by Andrew Wade) which garnered them on the billboard hot seekers list. Touring with bands such as “Attack Attack” “Oh Sleeper” “Emarosa” “In Fear In Faith” “We Came As Romans” “A Plea For Purging” “For Today” and many more.
