Burker is an Ohio-based death-doom metal band done right. It consists of Jameson Burkey on vocals, Matt Pifer on guitars and bass, and Ryan Pifer on the drums. The band was formed in the summer of 2021 and has released several singles as part of our quest for finding and perfecting our individual sound to stand out in an oversaturated market. Along the way, we've made a few fans and graced several metal playlists with our unique style.
Burker combines old school 90's era death
metal, with slow sludgey doom metal and
some bluesy lead guitar work for good
measure. Lyrically, our aim is to tell a story
and paint a vivid picture as you follow
along. Musically, Burker is crushingly
heavy, with canon like drums, pummeling
bass, and grinding guitars. With influences
past and present, we bring a familiar, yet
wholly original sound in an era of stale and lifeless music.
