Burn Your Bridges

Burn Your Bridges was formed on Long Island, New York, in 2018 by guitarist Matt Capitano, and drummer Tyler Bogliole. Eventually the lineup was rounded out by guitarist Andrew Hasley, bassist Nick Pagan, and vocalist Nick Kern.
Over the next few months, the band began playing shows all over the Island, building an audience in the local scene. But then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked, and vocalist Nick Kern moved to North Carolina. But there was no slowing down for Burn Your Bridges. With the wise words of everyone’s favorite animated hedgehog ringing through their heads, the band enlisted the talents of vocalist Kevin Schwartz into their ranks. Writing more songs, expanding their sound, and playing more shows with bands like Darkest Hour, All That Remains, and Attila, the band quickly began gaining more and more traction in the scene they call home and beyond.


Burn Your Bridges is currently in the middle of recording their debut album at Vudu Studios in Port Jefferson, with a planned summer release. The band’s first single, The Aperture, gives a taste of what’s to come, with their signature blend of ferocious metalcore and various sub genres on full display. Along with impassioned personal lyrics, intense performances, and melodic hooks, the band will continue to climb higher than ever before. We suggest you stick along for the ride.
