Burning Boats is the project of electronic musician Páidí Sweeney. Honing a sound since 2021, Páidí has gained traction for covers that have amassed over a million streams on streaming services, as well as original compositions aired on Dublin City FM's Tilt.
Beginning in 2024, Burning Boats leans into electronic compositions that smoothly blend rock, house, and electronica into a hugely diverse discography.
Páidí's work has been aired multiple times on Dublin City FM as well as appearing on official RouteNote playlists, and has been performed at many venues in Ireland, including Dublin Airport and the Swift Cultural Centre.
Páidí is currently working on Burning Boats' debut EP.
