Based in Winnipeg, MB but originally from Montreal, lead singer-songwriter Arielle Beaupré draws on her experiences living and working in the woods of British Columbia and ecstatic moments where the lines between self and world are blurred or vanish entirely.
"Floating Kitestrings" was produced at House of Wonders in Winnipeg and features the spare, evocative "Open" and groovy Latin upbeat "Dans La Jungle." The EP is inspired by the way music comes to Arielle, which she says is "often like grasping at something just beyond my reach [of which] the image that sticks with me is a kite floating far above."
