Born and raised within a family of musicians, extensive exposure to both jazz and classical music has always been a constituent part of By Lotus’ everyday life. With music already flowing steadily through his veins during early adulthood, the discovery of techno and various additional electronic genres led to his intensive deep-dive into the realm of music production.
When listening to his elegant tunes, it becomes evident that inordinate amounts of skills and commitment have gone into creating the perfect spectral image. By Lotus’ passion for blending nostalgic, soft, and organic jazzy tones coupled by electronic ambient soundscapes, has resulted in a characteristic blend that very much focuses on the resulting overarching beautiful sonic experience.
With vast numbers of pines and spruces outside of his studio window, By Lotus incorporates inspiration from the forests of northern Sweden into his creations. As he puts it himself: “Serenity and nature is what I breathe in. Music is what I breathe out”.
