BytheBy is a nu disco / pop band, consisting of Pål Solum and Joakim Marstrander. The band was founded in Oslo in 1988 already, hence you can still sense a fledge of 80/90 A-ha, Duran Duran, Petshop Boys and/or Alphaville flavours in their songs - sometimes even mixed with acoustic jazz samples and jazzy chords and undertones.
 The band has over time used guest vocals and instrumentalists to bring utter life into their digitally platformed music. BytheBy is hence more and more moving towards becoming a concept band.
