Upstate, Ny Songwriter – Now referred to as “C_R_O_W_N”. From Utica, Ny “Cornhill” neighborhood was born to rap. He knew it as early as age 5. At age 7 c_r_o_w_n was penning his own raps. He and a friend would play cassette tapes of other artists they loved. Practicing rapping over the artist beats. He fell in love with it. Basketball being his first love. Hip hop became his 2nd love. “My style is like no other. God blessed me to be versatile. My music has a red carpet feel to it most times. But real authentic and genuine all the time. Stuff I’ve lived, experienced etc. I was always the youngest dude coming up hanging with the og’s. Now I am one. My music is electrifying. A shock to your pores. When you truly lock in and listen with no interruptions. I mostly write about whatever comes with the mood I’m in. Whatever inspires me. I could be out at a basketball court and see a little kid jumping rope and be inspired. Sometimes I’ll stop and write ideas on a napkin. Or record on my phone voice memo. In the moment. Three name switches. A four year break from hip hop but I’m known for coming with it. There’s only one me and that’s my super power. My crown is ordained”. Today, Crown’s music career motto is to soar over new heights. Old fans transition over. It’s a new day. New fans I’m looking forward to you walking this journey with me.
