Chris Armstrong started writing music as <a href="spotify:artist:6KCETgSAs85IseHXX0kkaD" data-name="C-Strong">C-Strong</a> in 2007 with old demos, three of them which got redone for <a href="spotify:album:3cimW4Spq275USXFuwM8lh" data-name="Pretty Awesome Clean Content">Pretty Awesome Clean Content</a> (2012) which also has his signature hit, Hot Dogs Are Awesome. C-Strong released <a href="spotify:album:5yWB6mGISstq8D7y3XWVi7" data-name="Better Than Average">Better Than Average</a> (2014) before experimenting with the electronic sounds introduced in <a href="spotify:album:7gm5HQYP8WpkaAiCCMQz9h" data-name="Stayin C-Strong: Another Clean Album">Stayin C-Strong: Another Clean Album</a> (2016).
Expanding with the electronic sound as well as jumping into singing ballads, C-Strong dropped <a href="spotify:album:2JB8kWbU7XreSowo3Fx1qU" data-name="Choose the Strong: The Blessings, The Burg, and The Circle of Four">Choose the Strong: The Blessings, The Burg, and The Circle of Four</a> (2017). Being his first album with featured artists, CTS features debuts from <a href="spotify:artist:3g9lKf0rVUaO9ND9QHB35o" data-name="Toasty Hughes">Toasty Hughes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1avYpggCmMYZbJBg9hmWbZ" data-name="EternalBlankHawk">EternalBlankHawk</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0vDYJGA261yYk0dldV3Lln" data-name="Nites">Nites</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:68886OWDsgWFwpgSJW8Xp7" data-name="Yung Zac">Yung Zac</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6bhYbDJK3t6KdxovjRXEtc" data-name="Chelsey Smith">Chelsey Smith</a>.

The album meets in the middle with the genre hopping on CTS with songs like Emmanuel, <a href="spotify:track:3DU5gVKkyZTYzWGbzO4nVp" data-name="What's Goin' Down">What's Goin' Down</a> and <a href="spotify:track:1quCkGZWTRwm2P4qS7Zyj6" data-name="The Privelege of Fame">The Privelege of Fame</a>, while branching a little into hard rock and bringing in some heavy EDM/electronica.
C-Strong dropped Positive Vibes (2020) in the midst of Covid-19 with tracks featuring elements of C-Strong’s RFAD album while bringing in influences from <a href="spotify:artist:5HHvVUEVlj2w2TNTQ2lWeJ" data-name="MAYLIN">MAYLIN</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5PTmLHjIcze5LTPocdEJ8D" data-name="Young Yankee">Young Yankee</a> with their Lightspeed EP released months prior.
C is currently working on his next album titled Heat Waves, which will be a genre breaking album. <a href="spotify:artist:1ihEWUgpZgI0yR83227G7z" data-name="King Grump">King Grump</a> will be returning and we’ve already seen singles featuring Arizona local artists <a href="spotify:artist:3Z1eXZSCZ1yuQBtvfv0NiJ" data-name="Mr. Dynamic Vision">Mr. Dynamic Vision</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4xjOX0KEa0bulWsEaA1tse" data-name="Brigitte Nicole Beal">Brigitte Nicole Beal</a> each with music of their own. Expect the album in 2022.
