Since the release of his first single in 2019, independent rapper and songwriter C-tee has grown a substantial underground following online. Blurring the line between the old school and the new school, the self-styled ‘weird gay dude that raps’ lays dense, lyrical verses over hard-hitting trap instrumentals to create a fresh, alternative take on modern hip hop.
Born and raised in Griffin, Georgia, C-tee has been writing music since he was a child. Songwriting was - and still is - a way for him to discover more about himself as a person. He started recording his verses consistently around two years ago, and has since released five official tracks online.
On February 28th, 2020, C-tee dropped “Sit Em Down”, the lead single for his upcoming debut project. Featuring an infectious hook and a menacing Southern brass lead, the track proved to be his biggest hit to date, racking up well over ten thousand plays in just one week.
