With Targaryen and faith flowing in his blood, Woodz overcame life’s adversity by finding peace, strength and purpose in creativity. Music became his safe haven, and the way he communicates to his inner beast to calm it, reassure it, and feed it.


His music comes from strength, courage, and love. But it also comes from brokenness, disappointment, and struggle. Every song describes how he managed to fight hard to obtain the keys to his success and become the King of his very own Jungle.


Influenced by the likes of Lil Wayne and Chris Brown, Houston’s 3rd Ward rapper C Woodz brings a sound that blends together soaring hooks and dynamic rhymes. He packages conscious, impactful lyrics into the melodic trap style that has come to dominate the genre.


In 2018, after being featured on Houston rap legend, Lil’ Keke’s Slfmade II, C Woodz released his highly anticipated debut EP, Born in October. Woodz followed up this project with the singles “Drip or Drown”, “Let Me”, and “Never Expect”.


Fresh off of his electrifying performance at Austin’s SXSW (South by Southwest) music festival, Woodz’ highly anticipated mixtape So Many Vibez is set to debut on June 24, 2022.
