A 17-year hiatus is finally over, C21 is back and ready to celebrate life. Deeply rooted in the 2000’s
pop culture C21 celebrates their musical roots in their comeback, while creating fresh, crisp, and
exciting new music. Music that will make your feet move and your heart skip a beat.
17 years is a long time. The band has a lot on its mind, a lot to share. About becoming men in a
modern world. About loving unconditionally. About losing yourself and the one you love. About
finding your way home.
STAY POP pt.1 is, as the name reveals, the first in a series of EPs that C21 will release in the coming
years. STAY POP is not just a title, but a philosophy and a tribute to the moments that change us
and make our hearts beat faster.
C21 consists of Søren Bregendal and David Pepke and was originally formed in 1998. The boys’
self-titled debut album ‘C21’was released in 2002 and it became the most successful Danish boy
band debut album. The album contained hits like ‘Stuck in my heart’, ‘She cries’, and ‘You are the
one’.
In 2004 the band released its second album, Listen, with the smashing hit ‘All that I want’. ‘All the I
want’ became the most played song on Danish radio that year.
Back in the 2000s, C21 was released in 14 countries, was certified Gold in 4 of them, topped the
charts repeatedly, secured nominations for several prominent awards and won hundreds of
thousands of hearts.
