It has been a whirlwind experience for C4 Crotona in the rap game, but it has built him into the
artist he is today. The emcee is Bronx born but developed his passion for the sport
while living in Brooklyn. Inspired by the legends of the time such as Big Pun and Eminem, it wasn’t long
before C4 started writing lyrics himself. While creating music was always on his mind, he knew he had a
deep-rooted need to compete with the best. He soon became a battle rapper and developed his talent in
New Jersey while he garnered thousands of views on YouTube and WorldStarHipHop.
His sheer ferocity and aggressive demeanor resonated with listeners and competitions alike, and he was
never one to shy away from the more negative themes in life. This all changed however when C4 lost his
mother to murder in 2016. He shifted his focus away from the violence and negativity to honor her, now
writing compelling verses and making timeless hip-hop records with a gospel influence. While the dedica-
tion and talent never wavered, C4 is now set on becoming a glimmer of hope to the youth as he tells his
story of change to all who will listen!
