Hailing from the booming arts-based community of Portland, Maine, Cadaverette has forged a unique path for themselves. Formed in 2015, this genre blending, underground punk band has created a sound that sets them apart from their contemporaries. The band, led by Logan Abbey, has stitched together a quilt of various influences such as noise acts Today is the Day and swans as well as hardcore acts like Converge that makes for a wholly original sound. While on the surface, their songs may sound as desolate and cold as a Maine winter, there is also an underlying theme of hope to their music.
Their newest album, “We Are Everything, but … Not Anything,” is a 7-song opus of extreme noise rock that showcases the most mature evolution in their sound to date. Mixed by Metalcore genius, Kurt Ballou of Converge. Cadaverette’s own drummer, Dan Capaldi produced and engineered the record.
