Cadence

Cadence has been writing music for as long as she can remember but she began her official career in February of 2021 with her debut single "February," followed by two more singles before the release of her debut album "Cheerfully Melancholy" in 2022. Self-taught and writing, playing, and recording all herself, Cadence's songs carry an at-home DIY quality reminiscent of punk acts of the 90s. Her sound is more resemblant of alternative rock and pop acts of the 2000s and 2010s with threads from a long and varied list of influences woven in. Through tongue-in-cheek yet introspective lyricism and unpredictable arrangements, Cadence reflects a chaotic femininity both unique to her and relatable to many.
