Caffeine Addicts is a new alt/indie/emo duo from Southeast Michigan that has developed a dark and melodic songwriting style that represents the new rock and roll. The sound mixes samples, modern synth-based production, and live acoustic drums with grand abandon into a 21st Century whirlwind of sonics, lyrics, and atmosphere. Comprised of vocalist/producer/keyboardist Nino Chavez and drummer Quinn Russo, Caffeine Addicts will release a debut single, “Point Of A Soul,” in May of 2019 that will bring the results of this unique collaboration to the world and will also be one in a series of singles dropping throughout the year. CA will also play select live shows in the Michigan region this summer.
Nino and Quinn came together as Caffeine Addicts because both were ready to make life changes for which the project has become the catalyst. Their music has drawn comparisons to Twenty One Pilots, Panic! at the Disco, and Awolnation but the creative vision shared by these two musicians keeps them out of the shadow of imitation. The pair puts a contemporary twist on alternative rock with hooks, synths, and drums that makes the familiar fresh again. Caffeine Addicts has an unlimited future before it as a new and capable musical force on the international music scene.
