Spewing authenticity and candid sense of perspective, Ca$hus is a new emerging sound coming outside of the city of Detroit. Raised in the westside of Detroit, Michigan, Ca$hus was no stranger to music in his life. Growing up in a household with singers and avid music appreciators, music was a constant counterpart in his life. A self taught singer and guitarist, Ca$hus’ first entry to music was learning the saxophone on his own. Eventually his inquisitiveness brought him to the guitar, bringing it all together to write songs about his spiritual experiences and beliefs and how he internalizes them. Apart of the Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow collective, Ca$hus found himself in a growing community of musicians who reside just few streets away from the legendary Hitsville USA . With more resources and inspirations around him, Ca$hus plans to share his stories and observations from his life and others. Being influenced by artists such Gil Scott Heron, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean and Anita Baker. Ca$hus is a new emerging sound from one of the most historically musical cities in the world.
