Cait Brennan is a weirdo. No question. Her songs live in the same hard-to-classify art-pop/art-rock space as Rufus Wainwright, Queen, Emitt Rhodes, Warren Zevon, Judee Sill, Kate Bush, and so forth, you get the picture. She was born in Phoenix, and didn’t release her first album until late in her 40s. The critics have been kind, but she’s still a well kept secret among power pop and indie soul fans.
