Cajaste

Cajaste was formed back in 2010 from the idea of combining pictures of nature with ambient music.
I used to listen to Ambient music while being out in nature capturing images of all that I saw, the music was soothing.


Most of the time I had a hand recording device with me and captured the sounds of nature as I walked along.
I think it is fascinating to sample organic sounds and make fluent pad sounds out of them.


The soundscapes I create are a mix of our mysterious outer space and weightless underwater tunes. I try to create a state of relaxation for the listener that can not be explained with words or touched by hands.


In my upcoming music you will hear interesting arpeggios and rythms.
I will combine the sounds of old analogue synthesizers, organic sounds and modern technology to create the music just as I have done all along.


Cajaste released first full record titled ”This moment” in 2015. The record has 9 tracks.
Cajaste made a first public performance in 2017 at the Equinox Ambience 2017 event in Fiskars, Southern Finland.
The second performance the same year at the Ambient Evening LuX event in Parainen, near Åbo in Finland.
This year there will be more performances and the first one was at E:MF Hki 2019 in January.
