Hailing from Manchester, Cakes Tha Vibe, is a self-taught musician who specialises in Amapiano and is one of the fastest emerging Amapiano producers in the UK. He is one of the pioneers of the UK Amapiano Scene. Cakes Tha Vibe began his Amapiano career by managing emerging Amapiano Dj’s such as Dj Fistoz and DJ Maniac who have gone on to become successful Amapiano DJ’s in the UK.
He has rubbed shoulders with a lot of the Amapiano greats such <a href="spotify:artist:0mMqD2uqwvCjFvlzo6ayGi" data-name="DJ Maphorisa">DJ Maphorisa</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5MJ5f1XKD9yu7aWfG8OGjz" data-name="Mellow & Sleazy">Mellow & Sleazy</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5bo0POJfZKlwKbdVXAW6I6" data-name="El Maestro">El Maestro</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1YO25RWxpZ2Pvg82Bs4ING" data-name="Djy Biza">Djy Biza</a>.
Cakes Tha Vibe’s first introduction to the Amapiano scene was a solo single entitled <a href="spotify:album:04B802vhQnrkkKeIoGfCC4" data-name="Via D-Square">Via D-Square</a>, followed up by his album “Pushing Piano Properly”.
On his influences Cakes Tha Vibe says: “I have traveled the world, so I pick up sounds wherever I go. You hear some of these elements in my music. For me its all about growing Amapiano & pushing it the right way as its an authentic and unique sound and I feel like it needs to be protected in the right way.
