CALIX is a prominent figure in the world of electronic and Afro dance music as both a DJ and a Producer, hailing from the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria. In 2017, a significant turning point occurred when he crossed paths with Aye of VSS, leading to the formation of the dynamic collective known as "The Village Sound System”.
By 2018, CALIX had taken the Lagos music scene by storm, gracing the stages of major dance
music events such as "Major Lazer Sound System" and "BudX." Simultaneously, he enriched his musical journey by serving as a music intern at Soundcity Radio.

In 2020, while abroad, CALIX embarked on yet another creative endeavor, giving birth to the
"Nocturne Music" . This initiative aimed to nurture and support emerging electronic
DJs and producers in Nigeria, solidifying his commitment to the growth of the electronic music community. Under the banner of "Nocturne Music," CALIX crossed paths with talents like Jamie Black, Beyo Jr, Deadwvlf, and many others. They released a collab “Sounds of Nocturne “Volume 1 . Since then Calix has gone on to release couple of singles & a collaborative EP “Noisey Neighbors” in 2023 with Jamie Black & The Hause.
