Calle Kristiansson is a Swedish pop singer who rose to fame on the television show Idol in 2009 and made his smash hit eponymous album debut shortly thereafter. Born on July 5, 1988, in Kristianstad, Sweden, he was the second-place runner-up on Idol 2009, finishing behind another 21-year-old rocker, <a href="spotify:artist:5dg3YtsiR8ux6amJv9m9AG">Erik Grönwall</a>. Over the course of the season, Kristiansson performed the classic rock songs "Highway to Hell" (<a href="spotify:artist:711MCceyCBcFnzjGY4Q7Un">AC/DC</a>), "Here I Go Again" (<a href="spotify:artist:3UbyYnvNIT5DFXU4WgiGpP">Whitesnake</a>), "Are You Gonna Go My Way" (<a href="spotify:artist:5gznATMVO85ZcLTkE9ULU7">Lenny Kravitz</a>), and "Rock and Roll" (<a href="spotify:artist:36QJpDe2go2KgaRleHCDTp">Led Zeppelin</a>).
