CALLING VEGA are an alternative rockband of four from Germany.
With their atmospheric and energetic music, the band around vocalist Anne Diemer, guitarist Daniel Kasperek, bassist Sebastian Schweig and drummer Jan Friedrich unites deep personal experiences, reflections and convictions with a powerful, artistic expression in the tradition of bands such as Paramore, Pvris, Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic etc.
After playing tons of gigs in and around their home region, Calling Vega released their debut album »Constellations« in 2017. Since then much time has passed: the band has toured all over Germany and has played shows with bands like Blackout Problems, Max Raptor, Templeton Pek, Smile and Burn, Flash Forward and at renowned German festivals such as the Musikmesse Festival Frankfurt and the Schlossgrabenfest Darmstadt.
With their singles COLORS and GRAVITY, recorded and produced by Flo Nowak (Blackout Problems, Emil Bulls, Jennifer Rostock, Itchy etc.) at Dailyhero Recordings in Berlin, Calling Vega break new ground and take their sound to the next level.
Calling Vega’s new single GHOSTS (June 18, 2021) is a piece full of energy and joy of life. GHOSTS tells the story of overcoming obstacles, getting to know yourself and finding your own path. Painting your life in accordance with your personal vision and finally watching the pieces come together. GHOSTS stands for a strong attitude towards a self-aware, independent life in all its facets and music at its heart.
