Katrine Ottosen has been forging her expansive psychedelic art pop for as long as she can remember.
Not easily pinned to one genre, Ottosen has been a working musician since her teens. In the late aughts she branched out with her own music releasing two full length albums and three EPs under the moniker CALLmeKAT and started touring throughout Europe, the USA and other corners of the world which led to an instant liking for her sound and songs among a vast international audience.
Her music has been heard everywhere from catwalks in Sao Paulo and Berlin to music festivals in New York, Paris and Shanghai, as well as in numerous US TV series and two NPR Tiny Desk Live performances.
Her modern twist on vintage sound continues to give us the eclectic style we can expect from an artist with a voice and a sound that has been known to set her apart from the masses from the very beginning.
