Just a music producer artist guy who loves steamed vegetables and is mostly blind in one eye. Here's my story.
In the 2020 clusterduck-shmitstorm, I quit my corporate job and moved from the Toronto area to Vancouver Island with my wife and two cats where I'd write and record the first Calm Canopy singles (<a href="spotify:track:7gCDc7MKgSEiVaeGMs3GSg" data-name="Always Around">Always Around</a>, <a href="spotify:track:2Z9s6EnvlYJ7UhNcl8t5Xk" data-name="Confines">Confines</a>, <a href="spotify:track:43xZqAJ5VmpGkNZ2asTM8s" data-name="Moss">Moss</a>, <a href="spotify:track:4aUjQItsB04t5an7cVq1Fs" data-name="Fiction">Fiction</a>) in a makeshift bedroom studio, which were all released over the span of a few months.
2021: the new songs made their way into new ears via various Spotify editorial playlists such as Indie All Stars, Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds: Rock, Fresh Finds: Indie, Fresh Finds: Pop, RADAR Canada, New Music Friday Canada, undercurrents, and Ready to Rock. I was floored. I felt like dancing; I did. I enjoyed a square of the darkest chocolate I could find. Then I got back to work.
Today, I continue to produce my indie rock/pop anthems of inner discovery from my home studio in a small town located West of Toronto. 🇨🇦 Thank you for lending me your ears.
