A solo project from Calvin Capnary. Started in 2013 because he felt that his bandmates from his previous band will graduate soon from college before him and come back to their hometown. Calvin Capnary who is also the former vocalist of the punk rock band Jealous Lovers& and britpop band called Song Before Breakfast plays music with the Twee Pop genre with his own character that is different from others.
Calvin Capnary initially chose NATH which stands for “Nibbana, a True Happiness” as his solo project name. Nibbana itself is a teaching in Buddhism which has the meaning of true happiness. As the purpose of life of all people, with this solo project Calvin Capnary hopes to find his true happiness and accompany listeners through the day when they are searching for their true happiness.
But finally Calvin Capnary decided to use his real name as the name of his project instead of NATH (Nibbana, A True Happiness) because it was considered too heavy and difficult to remember.
