Cam Caruso

Cam Caruso is an award winning singer, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer from Oswego, NY. He has been writing music since 2012, and he has been performing professionally since 2015. Although his originals fall under the singer/songwriter genre, Cam covers a plethora of genres including pop, rock, folk, country, jazz, and blues. He has opened for nationally touring artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:65fKTdp0DbDvH8UBpwTKds" data-name="Jacob Johnson">Jacob Johnson</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1lyJ8ddC52ERd8XppvRbzq" data-name="The End of America">The End of America</a>. Cam&#39;s debut album, <a href="spotify:album:5ptuHDgsTRkLR9B0nKCVsy" data-name="On the Other Side">On the Other Side</a>, was released in 2017, and it was nominated for a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) in 2018 for Best Singer/Songwriter Recording. Then in 2019, he released an EP, <a href="spotify:album:3yafoscy4sZFNL1SrckJe0" data-name="Up Above &amp; Down Below">Up Above &amp; Down Below</a>, which ended up winning a SAMMY Award in 2020 in the same category.

Recently, Cam shared the stage with renown singer/songwriter, <a href="spotify:artist:2BOmYSLzDLBTiBDNYWXN3j" data-name="Chris Trapper">Chris Trapper</a>, who is known for songs in feature films such as August Rush. He also graduated with a master&#39;s degree in music production from Berklee College of Music. Cam&#39;s final project included producing &amp; engineering a 4 song EP for fellow local singer/songwriter, <a href="spotify:artist:2dIn5CkzRw3fdkqC7e0K2R" data-name="Zach Blaszak">Zach Blaszak</a>. That project was also nominated for Best Alternative Recording in the 2021 Syracuse Area Music Awards.
