Atlanta-based Orlando, FL native Cameron James Williams, professionally known as Cam James, is a storyteller. He was influenced by Nas, OutKast and 90's RnB; using that foundation to build his own sound. At Georgia Tech in 2011, he started turning his spoken word pieces into raps.
Cam progressed from dorm rooms to major stages, culminating in selections for some of the largest national music festivals in the late 2010s (A3C '16, SXSW '17). Following his first major placement on BET's Being Mary Jane in September 2017, he announced his debut album <a href="spotify:album:5Cz2Lo61ScsvPTZ3r8KwFb" data-name="LeviTAPE">LeviTAPE</a>, which released in December 2017. Cam starred in an international tourism campaign called "Hear The USA" for Brand USA & Spotify in 2018 and released his sophomore album <a href="spotify:album:3hrUsKYamZTAfSD3YvG4ov" data-name="Sadboysummer">Sadboysummer</a> in 2019.
Cam's third studio album, <a href="spotify:album:3q1aoQb3vWreDKdqd70RvO" data-name="Tomorrow May Not Come">Tomorrow May Not Come</a>, was released in July 2020. He has since become a label co-runner of Art By Sound Collective; helping introduce other undeniable talents to the world. The follow-up to 2019's Sadboysummer, <a href="spotify:album:4SnRRk3XwXOkTW0DX0rltk" data-name="SADBOYFALL">SADBOYFALL</a>, was released in November 2021 and kicked off a series of projects that will define this era of his career. In early 2024, Cam proved a diversity of skill as he gained national acclaim for his YouTube series "deep dive$".
