Growing up in the church as a pastor’s kid, Cameron had a love for song and music from an early age. When he discovered that there was more out there than just church music, he fell in love with the expression even more. Feeling inspired from the movie Once, he picked up a guitar at 14 and starting teaching himself how to play and write songs.
Drawing from his influences of legendary songwriters such as Rich Mullins, Springsteen, and Tom Petty, Cameron has taken his history of a faith-filled journey riddled with setbacks and mistakes and infused them with rich imagery and storytelling of his experiences. He writes about heartbreak, beauty, and perseverance with a longing for truth in the midnight hour.
Cameron released his first full-length album, Still Believe You in 2019, and is set to release his next record in 2023. He lives in North Idaho with his wife Toni and together they have 6 kids under 7.
